	New Sales Contact for Europe Mid-way through 2009, Avtron Aerospace hired new European Sales Manager, Alistair Howe, to lead our sales and customer support efforts in Europe. 	Changes to the Customer Support Team Recently, Avtron Aerospace announced changes to the existing Customer Support Engineering Department. Because customer satisfaction is top priority, our current Customer Support Team has been reorganized to include our traditional Field Service Engineering Team and a newly designated Product Support Team. Custom Drive Stand Designed & Built for Leading Helicopter Manufacturer

In November, Avtron Aerospace shipped a K708 custom drive stand built to be installed in the Systems Integration Laboratory (SIL) at the world’s most advanced designer and builder of helicopters. The K708 drive stand will simultaneously spin all five of the helicopter’s generators allowing the customer to test all of the aircraft hydraulic and electrical systems before the first helicopter takes flight. The system will later be used for troubleshooting. Designed with space restrictions in mind, the stand comes a part to fit through small doors at the customer’s facility.

Five K938 Test Stands for Chinese Development Lab

For the past year or so, Avtron Aerospace has been working on a large order for K938 Test Stands to be used in a Chinese development laboratory. These test stands will be used for testing new aircraft component designs. The project included the design and manufacture of three 500 HP test stands (standard design), one 750 HP test stand and one 1,500 HP test stand (both custom designs).
